Known for the gracefully swirling skirts of the ladies and the percussive footwork of the men, the dancers of Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet unveil some of their secrets as they host the latest installment of the free Monday night J.A.M. (Jazzed and Motivated) Sessions. Extending through the summer and alternating between different drumming and dance troupes, this session offers participants a chance to learn some basics of the distinctive rhythmic footwork of Mexican folkloric dance. Sit back to gain a deeper understanding of this engaging dance style. The lessons undoubtedly will add to the enjoyment of Grandeza's full performance, later in August.
